Login and Authentication
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The LAMS login page is the entry point for all users. You sign in with your email address and password, and the system will display the menu sections you have access to based on your role.

Logging In
Section titled “Logging In”- Open the LAMS application in your web browser.
- Enter your email address in the username field.
- Enter your password in the password field.
- Click the Login button.
After a successful login, you will be taken to the main dashboard. The navigation menu on the left will show only the sections you have permission to access.
Forgot Password
Section titled “Forgot Password”If you cannot remember your password:

- On the login page, click Forgot Password?.
- Enter your registered email address.
- Click Send Reset Link.
- Check your email for the reset link — it is valid for 24 hours.
- Click the link, enter your new password, confirm it, and submit.
Staying Logged In
Section titled “Staying Logged In”Your session is saved automatically when you log in. If you are inactive for more than 8 hours, the system will log you out and you will need to sign in again.
When you are done working, always log out properly:
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Logout from the menu.
First-Time Setup
Section titled “First-Time Setup”After your first login, take a few minutes to:
- Check your profile — Confirm your name, email, and contact information are correct.
- Review your access — Make sure you can see all the menu sections you need. Contact your administrator if anything is missing.
- Set your column preferences — In any Smart Table, save your preferred columns as favorites so they load automatically next time.
- Check your queue — Look for any items already assigned to you on the dashboard.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Problem | What to do |

| ”Invalid credentials” | Check your email spelling or use Forgot Password to reset |
| ”Account locked” | Contact your system administrator — accounts lock after 5 failed attempts |
| ”Session expired” | Log in again — sessions expire after 8 hours of inactivity |
| Cannot see a menu section | Contact your administrator to check your role permissions |
