Non-Account Current (NAC)

Non-Account Current (NAC) policies are billed directly to the insured by the agency, rather than through the producer. The insured pays the agency, and the agency then pays commission to the producer separately.

Direct bill is a variation of NAC where the carrier bills the insured directly, bypassing the agency for premium collection. The agency still manages the commission payment to the producer.

For direct bill policies, commission is tracked through the Commissions screen rather than through payment entry.
