Document Generation

LAMS generates all policy documents — declarations pages, quote sheets, decline letters, renewal solicitations, and more — directly from the application data. You select the document type and LAMS populates it with the correct policy details automatically.

  1. Open the application or policy in LAMS.
  2. Navigate to the Documents tab.
  3. Select the document type from the dropdown.
  4. Click Generate.
  5. The document opens in a preview. Review it before sending.
  6. Click Download to save the PDF or Email to send it directly.

After generating a document:

  1. Click Email from the document preview.
  2. The email dialog opens with the document attached and the recipient pre-filled from the application.
  3. Edit the subject or body if needed.
  4. Click Send.

All sent emails are logged and viewable from the Email History tab on the application.

LAMS uses customizable templates for each document type. Administrators can upload new templates and update existing ones via Administration > Templates.

Certificates of insurance (ACORD 27 format) can be generated from the Certificates tab on any active policy.
