Express Workflow (REEXP / ACEXP / APEXP)
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Express workflow provides a streamlined, step-by-step stepper interface for binding new business on express product lines. Instead of the full application form used by Standard products, Express uses a condensed stepper that walks the user through limit selection, deductible, insured information, premium calculation, and binding — all within a single guided flow.
Supported Product Lines

Before You Begin
Section titled “Before You Begin”- Confirm the client qualifies for an Express product line (no open claims, within revenue thresholds).
- Verify the assigned producer has an active license in the policy state.
- Gather: insured name, business address, number of professionals, and desired effective date.
Step 1: Start a New Express Application

- Navigate to New Business > New Application.
- Select the appropriate Express LOB (REEXP, ACEXP, or APEXP) from the line-of-business dropdown.
- Select the producer from the producer search field.
- Enter the effective date.
- Click Start Express Quote — the stepper interface opens.
Step 2: Select Coverage Limits

- Review the available limit packages displayed as selectable cards.
- Click the package that matches your client’s coverage need.
- The stepper advances automatically to the deductible step.
Available packages vary by LOB. Common REEXP packages range from $100K/$300K to $1M/$2M.
Step 3: Select Deductible

- Select the deductible amount from the available options.
- Note that some limit packages restrict which deductibles are available.
- Click Next.
Step 4: Enter Insured Information

- Enter the insured/business name.
- Fill in the business address (street, city, state, zip).
- Enter the number of licensed professionals.
- Select the primary business activity from the dropdown.
- Click Next.
Step 5: Review Premium and Bind

- Review the premium summary: per-claim limit, aggregate limit, deductible, and annual premium.
- Confirm the effective and expiration dates.
- Choose one of the following:
- Bind — the policy is bound immediately and moves to the booking queue.
- Save as Quote — saves the application for later binding.
- Back — returns to a previous step to make changes.
- If binding, click Confirm Bind on the confirmation dialog.
After Binding
Section titled “After Binding”- The system generates a policy number and displays a bind confirmation.
- The policy appears in the Policy Queue for underwriter review.
- Documents (binder, application) are generated automatically — see Document Generation.
- Booking is processed as part of the standard accounting workflow — see Booking.
