Email

LAMS sends emails automatically for key workflow events — quotes, referrals, declines, renewals, payment reminders, and more. You can also compose and send emails manually from any policy or application. All sent emails are logged and viewable from the policy’s Email History tab.

The system sends emails automatically in these situations — you do not need to do anything:

  1. Open the policy or application.
  2. Navigate to the Email tab.
  3. Click Compose Email.
  4. Select an email template if applicable — the template fills in the subject and body automatically.
  5. The To field is pre-filled with the producer’s email. Add CC recipients if needed.
  6. Attach documents — click Add Attachment and select from the policy’s generated documents.
  7. Review the message and make any edits.
  8. Click Send.

Every email sent from a policy — whether automated or manual — is recorded in the Email History tab:

Click any row to see the full email content and attachments.

Standard email templates are available for all common communications. Administrators can update or add templates via Administration > Email Templates.
